APRIL International, the award-winning provider of international health insurance solutions for individuals, families, and businesses, has announced its move to a new office in the City of London. This caps strong years of continued growth for the company, having expanded into Germany and Dubai (UAE) in 2022.
The new office will provide space for APRIL International UK’s fast-growing teams, but importantly will also offer two new broker hubs to better support our partners when they visit London and need a comfortable place to work in-between client appointments.
Having a dedicated area for brokers is particularly beneficial for its partners who work remotely or are not based closed to London and tend to travel in for the day. The importance APRIL International places on nurturing these connections has recently been reflected in the company being awarded a 5-star service rating in Health & Protection’s 2023 International Private Medical Insurance (IPMI) report. This saw the business placing highest across all categories, including speed of response and staff expertise, based on independent broker feedback.
This move will also accommodate the UK team’s growing workforce following new hires to support its wider expansion. The new office delivers an engaging working environment for employees, with modern video conference and meeting rooms and breakout areas for staff to relax during downtime. It indicates the company’s commitment to providing a collaborative workplace to support best working practices.
On the office’s opening, Joe Thomas, Managing Director of APRIL International UK, said:
“This is the next step forward in helping us achieve our business goals and put plans together for the future. We'll continue to grow our team to maintain our exceptional high-quality services for both our customers and partners.
I am particularly pleased with the launch of our broker hub concept. This will help partners who are working temporarily in London, but who need an office base. We envisage brokers and partners being able to access our in-house specialists by prior agreement if they need technical support to enhance presentations and pitches, they may be working on.”
Isabelle Moins CEO of APRIL International Europe, commented:
“APRIL International UK’s growth over the past few years reflects the wider progress within our Group, as we continue to enjoy strong sales in multiple international markets. The new UK offices will help support our continued expansion and deliver comprehensive IPMI solutions across the globe.”
