You can also choose to reduce your premium by selecting a voluntary plan excess.
*There are some countries where the plan is not available due to local insurance regulations or exchange controls
International health insurance is designed for expatriates or anyone living, working, or travelling abroad for an extended period. Generally, international health insurance will provide access to leading private medical facilities, with a wide range of comprehensive medical insurance benefits. Whilst most travel insurance policies will provide emergency medical coverage before returning you to your home country, and feature alongside core benefits such as travel delays, cancellations, baggage, and belongings.
New customers under the age of 65 years, will qualify for our Moratorium underwriting term, which does not require a completed medical questionnaire. The Moratorium specifies that any pre-existing medical conditions that have been diagnosed, treated, consulted, or had symptoms in the past 2 years will be excluded from cover.
The maximum age limit for new customers is 70 years.

If you choose to be insured on an Area One ‘Worldwide excluding the USA and Caribbean’ basis you will have access to an Out of Area benefit which grants 60 days of cover for acute medical treatment in the USA and Caribbean per policy year. Area Two ‘Worldwide’ coverage is also available.
The plan is available in GBP, USD and EURO’s and can be paid on an annual, quarterly, or monthly basis.
In some countries an additional Insurance Premium Tax may apply on top of the premium. We will let you know if this applies to you.
The plan is not intended to provide cover for medical conditions that have been in existence in the two years immediately prior to its start date.
Any medical condition that is already in existence will not be eligible for cover, unless you have purchased our benefit add on for Pre-existing Condition Cover.
