The geographic coverage zone depends on the country in which you are going to study. When taking out your policy, select the zone in which your cover will apply. Choose from:
- Zone 1: Worldwide including USA
- Zone 2: Worldwide, including Canada, China, Hong Kong, Mexico, Monaco, United Kingdom, Singapore and Switzerland (excluding USA)
- Zone 3: Worldwide outside of the countries listed in zones 1 and 2.
In addition to the chosen zone, your coverage will also be valid (except for excluded countries):
- in your country of nationality, for temporary stays of less than 90 consecutive days
- in the event of an accident or medical emergency, for a cumulative period of 30 days outside the coverage zone
Yes, of course you can go to the United States with MyStudies Cover. All you have to do is select Zone 1 when you take out your insurance. MyStudies Cover is compatible with the J1 visa application.
With the Easy Claim app, you can take photos of your medical bills or other supporting documents and send them to us directly. We will process the reimbursement within a few days.
